Tiny keeps on improving and her dressage test had moments of really nice work in between distractions. It is easy to forget how young she is and I don't ever get annoyed with her for being interested in life and in her job, as if she was impeccably behaved already she would be pretty despondent when still in the same job 5 or 10 years down the line. Although it is a bit frustrating on a competitive front! She followed up a score of 35 with a double clear inside the time and although she was only 12th, I was pleased with all 3 of her performances.
Cosmo did a nice dressage and also a nice double clear, cruising round the BE100 in one of the nicest rounds I've ever had. His rhythm was faultless and I never corrected him once but every stride was spot on, he really did feel classy and well established at this level, despite it only being his 2nd attempt.
Hopefully we won't be heading back to Aston for a while - as lovely as the event is (and it really is!), it is a long way when considering how fortunate we are having so many local events, and a lorryload of horses there always means the alarm goes off at some point around the 3am mark!
The babies are going to Hambleden, Milton Keynes and then Badminton next, and then having a well deserved break!
